Upholstery leather care is important

Leathertex® care products have been specifically developed to make caring for your finished upholstery leather simpler and less time consuming.

The advanced technology of the two-in-one concept cleaner/conditioner and protector/enhancer saves you time and effort, yet effectively maintains your leather in pristine condition. Leathertex® will easily remove perspiration, body oils and general soiling, which are the major cause of surface damage to upholstery leather.

Your finished upholstery leather is protected by a urethane top-coat, which helps prevent the leather from absorbing nasty stains. However, regular care with Leathertex® care products is essential to retain this top-coat in good condition.

Important: Upholstery leather is the most sophisticated form of leather and should NOT be confused with other types of leather e.g. shoe, clothing, hand bags, saddles etc.

Upholstery leather must be cared for with products specifically designed for the cleaning and conditioning and protection of upholstery leather.

Upholstery leather is processed to a high degree of softness and durability at the tannery where it is coloured with aniline dyes so as not to conceal the natural characteristics. The leather is then ready to be further developed into the finishes listed.
