SUEDE, RAWHIDE AND NUBUCK LEATHER

(Sueded in appearance)

These soft, luxurious feeling leathers are coloured with aniline dyes but do not have a urethane protective coating against soiling. Suede, Rawhide and Nubuck leathers are difficult to maintain and can suffer fading due to light exposure.

A fluro-chemical soil resistant finish can, in most cases, be applied to protect these leathers against spills and soiling. This protection also makes maintaining the leather easier.

Will show the effects of regular use more readily than Finished/Pigmented and Semi Aniline leathers.’

Hint: A good test to find out whether or not your leather has a urethane top coat or not is to wet your fingers in water and press them lightly on to the leather surface. If the moisture soaks into the hide then your leather has no protective top coat, eg. Nubuck, suede and rawhide.

Leathertex®, Leathertex-Pro® and Leathertex Ink Remover are not suitable for this finish.
